Why should I download Patron GO? expand

The Patron GO mobile app is the first and only app of its kind. With Patron, you get free continuous protection from overcharges that you can get rid of right in the app. In addition, Patron rewards you for each time you cure an overpriced payment, just choose an iPad or perhaps a coffee machine in the Rewards Catalogue

Why do I need to allow the app to view my transaction history from my bank account online? expand

Connecting the online bank statement is not mandatory, you can find overdrawn payments in another way by manually entering them. However, connecting an online bank statement is the easiest and fastest way to reliably find all the overpriced payments that are costing you money

Who's gonna see all my data? expand

Your personal information and data is safe and highly protected. It is handled exclusively by our system, which evaluates everything automatically.

If I delete the app/my account, will the data I uploaded to the app also be deleted? expand

We always work in accordance with the Data Protection Act (GDPR) and the rules of the Komerční banka license. After deleting your account, we only keep the data in accordance with the regulations imposed by law.

Is the app paid? expand

The app is and always will be free.

Can't someone use the app to steal my account? expand

That will never happen. Our system can really only passively look into your account, not control it. It is not possible to send or receive any payments through the app. Patron can't even see your login details. Your account is always safe

Where will my data go through the app? expand

Only our system handles your personal data and all data is on secure Google servers under a high level of encryption.

Can I enter payments manually and avoid linking my online bank statement? expand

For the app to work properly, we really recommend activating the online preview. This is the only way you won't miss any overpriced payments. If you still decide to enter payments manually, we fully respect your decision and you can do so in the app.

Do I need a smartphone to use the app? expand

Yes, you need an Android or iOS phone to use the app fully

Can I disconnect the preview of my bank account at any time? expand

Right in your profile in the app, you can request to delete your account, including all data associated with that account.

Can I check more than one account? expand

Yes, Patron allows any number of online account statements, but currently only for the Android operating system. We are working hard to make this feature available for iOS (iPhone) as soon as possible.

Can I access Patron other than through the mobile app? expand

Patron can now only be accessed through the mobile app.

How do I resolve overcharges using Patron? expand

After you connect your bank account (or manually enter payments), Patron will scan your payments and determine which ones are unnecessarily high. It will flag such payments as viruses, which can be cured using the app. The whole process is done by communicating with a specific specialist who will offer you a cheaper or significantly better service for the same price right in the app. With Patron, you will never pay for anything more. Patron doesn't sell, Patron makes payments cheaper

What if I'm not satisfied with the resolution of an overpriced payment? expand

If there is a problem with the resolution of the virus found, please contact us by email at support@patrongo.com. We will address your request immediately.

How often is the data from my attached online listing updated? expand

If you select continuous protection in the application, then the data is updated every 3 days. If you select manual protection, then the data is only updated when you manually run the scan yourself.

How do I create an account for Patron? expand

You can register for the app using your Facebook account, Google account or AppleID, or you can register manually using a simple form directly in the app.

Can I use the app on my tablet or computer? expand

You can only use the app on your smartphone and tablet.

Does my bank have to give me permission to use the app? expand

You don't need to ask your bank. The Patron app uses an EU-issued licence to obtain your account statement using the PSD2 legislative directive. This instructs banks to disclose their customers' bank details to a third party (Patron) if the account holder gives their consent.

In case I decide to discount some of my services through Patron, how do I handle the whole thing and what about contracts? expand

You will sort everything out directly with a licensed specialist online in the app. Together you will agree on everything you need, including the way the contracts will be handed over to you, for example by email, directly in the app or by post. It's up to you.

Who is helping me resolve overcharges? expand

After finding a virus (overpriced payments), the app will ask you if you want to resolve the virus. If you decide that you do, the system will ask you for a few last details. This usually only takes a moment. After that, you will be connected via chat directly in the app to a licensed specialist, with whom you will resolve everything. You decide which way. You can call, write in the app or meet. It's up to you. All specialists in the app are consistently selected and monitored. We do not represent any particular bank or insurance company. We are independent and want only the best for you

What should I do if no specialist logs in to chat even though I've gone through all the necessary steps? expand

On rare occasions, there may be a situation where there is a higher demand for virus resolution and it is possible that all available specialists are already dedicated to Patron users. In this case, a specialist will contact you as soon as possible directly in the application chat. There are different specialists for each type of virus, so feel free to try to resolve another overpriced payment in the meantime. As soon as a specialist becomes available, he will write to you immediately. Don't worry, you don't have to have the app on all the time, once you hear from the specialist, you'll get notifications

Kde uvidím, kolik peněz si mohu vybrat? expand

V aplikaci v sekci “pozvi přátele a získej odměnu”. Dostanete se do ní tak, že v aplikaci kliknete vpravo nahoře na své inciály a následně již uvidíte tlačítko do této sekce. Zde uvidíte dlaždici “Vaše odměny”, kde naleznete vše potřebné.

Jak mohu pozvat své přátele do programu? expand

Velmi jednoduše. V sekci “pozvi přátele a získej odměnu” si můžete vytvořit svůj vlastní odkaz, který můžete libovolně sdílet. Můžete si také vybrat a pozvat přes SMS své vlastní kontakty v mobilu. Možností je hodně :).

Kde uvidím v jaké fázi registračního procesu je uživatel, kterého jsem pozval? expand

V sekci “pozvi přátele a získej odměnu” uvidíte seznam všech vašich kontaktů, které od vás dostali pozvánku pro vstup. Každý takový kontakt si můžete rozkliknout a uvidíte přesně v jaké fázi se nachází. Dokonce můžete vždy poslat i upozornění/připomínku danému uživateli, na dokončení aktuální fáze.

Kdo se může do programu zapojit? expand

Do programu se může zapojit kdokoli ve věku alespoň 18 let a mající aktivně využívaný účet (za posledních 6 měsíců minimálně 100 transakcí) u české banky.

Za jak dlouho mi odměna přijde na účet? expand

Od chvíle zažádání o vyplacení odměny skrze aplikaci, obdržíte odměnu do 5 pracovních dnů na váš účet.

Proč nevidím v aplikaci odměnu i když jsem pozval do ní uživatele? expand

Pozval/a jsem lidi, kteří si aplikaci určitě stáhli a nedostal/a za ně odměnu expand

U každého uživatele, kterého jste pozvali, si můžete rozkliknout detail, kde je vidět, v jakém kroku registrace se nachází. Odměnu vám připíšeme ve chvilí, kdy uživatel propojí aplikaci se svou bankou. Je také možné, že některý z uživatelů nesplnil podmínku pro přiznání odměny. Zejména se jedná o plnoletost a propojení aplikace se skutečně aktivně využívaným účtem u české banky.

Proč mi nejde odměna vybrat? expand

K výběru odměny musíte mít Patron GO Peněženku. Patron peněženku je možné aktivovat připojením běžného účtu konkrétní banky, která je Aplikaci uvedena jako Patron Peněženka.

Odměna lze vždy v aplikaci vybrat až od 1 000 Kč výše. Jakmile budete mít dostatečnou částku, zprovozní se tlačítko pro výběr odměny. Pokud je tato podmínka splněna, ale problém přetrvává, napište nám na support.cz@patrongo.com a podíváme se na to.

Z aplikace mi zmizela odměna expand

Odměnu jste si nechali vyplatit. V tom případě byla odečtena z vašeho Patron účtu a je na cestě na váš bankovní účet :) Odměnu jsme vám odečetli za porušení některého důležitého pravidla programu, na které nás upozornil náš systém. Ten sleduje odchylky od pravidel zcela automatizovaně. Jedná se například o cíleně založené bankovní účty pouze pro získání odměny. Připojování neaktivně využívaných účtů (pod 100 transakcí za posledních 6 měsíců) do aplikace a nebo nedostatečný věk (18+) pro vyplacení odměny. Pokud k tomuto dojde, určitě od nás dostanete i podrobnou zprávu emailem.
